Journal of Iranian Public Administration Studies

Journal of Iranian Public Administration Studies

The Journal of Iranian Public Administration Studies (JIPAS) is a peer‑reviewed, open‑access quarterly journal published in Persian (with extended English abstracts and bibliographies) under a double‑blind review process. The journal is published with the support and collaboration of the Iranian Public Administration Association (IPAA).

JIPAS aims to advance theoretical and empirical knowledge in the field of public administration by addressing contemporary issues and challenges of governance, public management, and policy‑making in diverse administrative and institutional contexts. While the journal maintains a particular interest in public administration studies related to Iran, it explicitly welcomes contributions that adopt comparative, international, and cross‑national perspectives and that draw upon global knowledge and experiences. The journal publishes scholarly works in the areas of public administration, governance, public policy, organizational behavior, and human resource management in the public sector.

Adopting a problem‑oriented and interdisciplinary approach, JIPAS seeks to promote knowledge production and enhance scholarly understanding of the mechanisms of public administration, policy‑making, governance, and public organizations at local, national, and global levels. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and methodological studies. Throughout all stages of the review and publication process, JIPAS adheres to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), complies with relevant regulations on the prevention of academic misconduct, and is committed to upholding research ethics, scientific standards, and academic integrity.
