Abstract
In the economists' forum, a theory called the "resource curse theory" has emerged, which has become a major excuse for the inefficiency of the national administration of countries, rich in natural resources. According to this theory, natural resources (such as oil) have become the scourge of oil-rich countries. Economists are the great propagandists of this theory, and because of the dominance of economists over government decisions, the national discourse of rulers, policy makers, managers and politicians, they are full of phrases such as "oil is the cause of misery". Is this theory really true? I will talk about this controversial topic in this issue.
