In Which Context Does Breakthrough Knowledge Grow?

Abstract
Breakthrough Knowledge stems from a type of knowledge in which innovation is formed through novel thoughts and beliefs and not in gradual and incremental growth. Breakthrough Knowledge has some characteristics that go beyond traditional and old paradigms, it pursues qualities excluding order/discipline and objectivity, certainty, stability and accurate predictability that were proposed/discussed in traditional paradigms. Breakthrough Knowledge may be the result of features such as complexity and chaos, discontinuity and disruption, instability, probable relations, estimation and illumination (intuition) in knowledge. This type of knowledge could bring about dramatic and profound effects in the world, by using partial force and modicum resources. Adventurers, entrepreneurs, innovative and creative people are required for creating such knowledge, with its particular criteria for genuineness and originality. Through explaining these criteria and also attributes of Breakthrough Knowledge, this research attempts to illustrate the context and conditions of its creation, growth and development.
