Climate change and increasing emissions make the environmental problem a fundamental challenge for companies.It has required them to use primary resources and capabilities to achieve sustainability and environmental protection.Therefore, basedon theories suchas GreennudgeTheory, companies are trying to change the nature of leadership from classic to modern leadership dimensions such as Saltogenic to take more effective measures towards the sustainability of environmental behaviors of human resources.This research aimed to develop the Saltogenic leadership mechanism based onthe Green nudge Theoryof human resource ecological behaviors.The study methodology was mixed, so inthe qualitative phase, meta-composite analysis was usedto determine the dimensions of the research.Then the reliability of the research measurements was confirmed basedon Delphi analysis.In the quantitative phase, rough analysis was used to determine themost effective Saltogenic leadership mechanisms for the development of environmental behaviors of human resources based onthe dimensions ofthe Green nudge Theory.In the qualitative part, the statistical population consisted of 18 specialists and experts in management at the university level.In the quantitative part, the participation of 24 people from the managers of companies active in the petrochemical industry, who had experience in both knowledge and experience, was used.The basisof sample selection was the useof a homogeneous method.The research results showed that strategic followers are considered the most crucial mechanism based onthe Gree nudgeTheory that can contribute tothe sustainability of environmental behaviors of human resources inthe petrochemical industry.Due to the green professional identity created according tothe GreennudgeTheory, the sustainability of environmental behaviors in companies related to petrochemicals is strengthened more than before
